Fortnite’s Latest Chapter 7 Update Leaks

Fortnite

Right now, Fortnite is celebrating the Simpsons collab event and Battle Pass to the positive reception of many players. However, players are not just hyped for the completion of their passes and the rewards that come from it, but also the release of Chapter 7, confirmed to drop right after. But what does Chapter 7 have to offer for the game? Recently, more information has been confirmed about the chapter, including several leaks to look at.

When Will Chapter 7 Drop?

As established by Epic Games themselves, Chapter 7 is planned to release for Fortnite right after the Simpsons Collab. However, when does the event even end? According to a Tweet made by Epic Games itself, the collab will end around November 29th. This is because an “End of Chapter” event will be held in Fortnite. This is theorized to conclude the short animated video series being made to promote the collab’s storyline. Want to keep an eye on all things Fortnite? What is Chapter 7’s New Theme?

According to the leaks and vague confirmations, the new Chapter 7 map will allegedly have a more “Los Angeles” feel to it. The new map will not only feature a prominent desert biome, but may also include collaborations with blockbuster film series, such as Harry Potter, Kill Bill, and James Bond. However, there’s another part of the theme that is really making players excited.

Instead of advertising the chapter with the number, it’s marketed as “Chapter Seven,” which has sparked a huge theory. In the previous seasons, a team called the Seven was introduced to the main storyline. However, the crew hasn’t been seen or mentioned much in the latest chapters, leaving fans of the characters wondering where they went. So, now fans are excited to potentially see the return of the Seven crew and where the Chapter will take them.

The New Map Leaks

According to a leak on Twitter, the upcoming Chapter 7 map is planned to have a Los Angeles feel. However, other leaks posted suggest a map based on Nevada, which sparks some confusion. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any known confirmation by Epic Games yet, and there likely won’t be until the official trailer for the chapter drops. According to the Nevada leaks, though, there are plans for an Area 51 and casino landmarks to explore.

The Chapter 7 Collabs

Besides the collabs already mentioned, there are a ton of other rumors for collabs. Among the many rumors, there’s news about a possible SpongeBob, Harry Potter, James Bond, Kill Bill, and more KPop Demon Hunters. However, as of right now, the only collab that has actually been teased by Epic Games is Kill Bill, which increases its odds of joining the chapter.

The Kill Bill Collab Hints

There was one major hint to Fortnite announcing the Kill Bill collab for Chapter 7. In a leak posted on Twitter, the same truck that appears in the Kill Bill 2025 movie trailer appears. This allegedly confirms not only the truck and its decal, but the entire collab itself. However, there’s even more to consider. For example, if the Kill Bill collab becomes a reality, then we can easily expect the appearance of The Bride character and others in the next Battle Pass.

Chapter 7 Fortnite Festival

Another popular mode in Fortnite is the Festival, which includes a rhythm game with several new songs every Chapter. Along with the new Chapter for Battle Royale, the Fortnite Festival will actually be getting a whole new season! This promises several new songs and features to have players come back and stick around.

Harmonix, the team in charge of the Fortnite Festival mode, has lately been adding new karaoke-style tracks and more. While they aren’t playable just yet, Harmonix confirmed that each track file has the karaoke version ready to be published. Also, there are rumors about a drum kit made by CRKD, which is said to work alongside the Fortnite Festival, too!

Self-Revives?!

Now we get to one of the biggest reveals by the recent leaks, and that’s of a possible self-revival feature! According to another post made on Twitter on November 9th, a photo was shown that allegedly suggests a self-revive system. Players would drive around a special blue van that can deliver revives for themselves. This is meant to relieve an issue in team Battle Royale modes who spam revive their teammates. It will also give beginner players more of a chance to last longer with the right strategies.

The possible feature of this revival van has sparked lots of discussions and debate among the playerbase. While many rejoice at the idea of self-revival, others question the van’s practicality. For example, since it’s a vehicle that players can likely drive, many state that most vans will end up either being driven into rivers or unreachable areas. Others comment on how, even if locked from driving, players will try to destroy them on sight or block them off to increase competition.
